Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, Cyclismo Cafe will be open from morning to evening. Take pleasure in a light and healthy menu that can be enjoyed any time of day. Cyclismo Cafe will offer vegetarian choices as well as gluten and dairy free options.


A Cycling Community

Our focus will be on family, commuting bikes, and Urban cycles. We are still getting our inventory together, so check back for a list of brands.  Cyclismo Cafe will also host different bike companies and shops that will do short term, Pop-ups. We want to give people the best of Urban Cycling.  Test-rides, will be offered and encouraged!

Who We Are


Jihan Bayyari

Co-Founder & Head of Marketing

After living in Europe or 6 years, Jihan fell in love with the bike. As a means of transportation, adventure, and fun, the bike is the one thing she brought back when she returned to the US.   Jihan loves to take her daughters on bike rides around Redwood City, you can find them on their Nihola Bike living their car light lifestyle.




When Penelope is on her bike, nothing else matters, there could be a downpour and a free ride at hand and she probably still wouldn't budge. The freedom that her bike offers is unparalleled and when paired with beautiful coffee you can stick a fork in her, she's done! After graduating from Culinary School Penelope fell in love with coffee while abroad in Australia and it's a total thrill for her to be able to continue that journey at Cyclismo. When not on coffee bar Penelope is adventuring on her bike or in Theatre class. 



Munir Bayyari

Co-Founder & Chef

Munir loves to take inspiration from simple local ingredients when he creates the seasonal menus at Cyclismo Cafe. When Munir isn't biking around San Francisco, he is busy with his 2 dogs.  Munir is a total foodie, he loves to try new restaurants and cuisines, and really keep his finger on the pulse of the food culture in the area.




Cycling is one of Uriel's passions, it gives him the freedom to control nothing but what's in front of him. When it comes to coffee he enjoys working with it because there are so many different techniques at hand in which to brew and prepare, and most importantly coffee is also one of the many ways we all mutually connect on a global scale and he considers that to be true poetry. When not on the coffee bar you can find Uriel at the cafe and hard at work on a new bike build. 



Our Partners & Ingredients

We always use simple, quality ingredients and we work with local farmers and bakers, as well as excellent coffee bean growers to bring you a menu that is organic, local, and flavorful. Here are some of our partners:

  • Papachay Coffee We buy our coffee directly from the owner of the coffee farm.  We know what we get, who and where it comes from.  Our coffee is not roasted until we place our order, ensuring the freshest tastiest, coffee.
